SC400 cheap fix to cloudy healights...
I figured out a cheap way to fix the problem with the cloudy headlights or I should say a buddy of mine did... First get a drimel tool and a few polishing wheels and a razor blade... Take some polish and slowly work your way over the whole headlight be careful not to stay in one place to long or you can burn the headlight... The razor blade is for when the polishing wheel starts to gum up just touch it to the razor blade... For the whole job it takes about three wheels and about two hours of time... We did mine about 6 months ago and they looked brand new but about a month ago you could tell they were starting to turn again so we repolished them and then added laminx and they really look sharp now... I got the laminx from a guy up in Blue Ridge, GA and it was around $90..

1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper with a little bit of water is EASY. Then polish after with that red can of rim polish. Looks like brand new.
Every month or so touch up and repolish with the rim polish to keep em looking fresh.
Total cost under 10 bux if u dont have the stuff already. Free and about 30mins of easy labor while your drunk on a saturday afternoon if u got the stuff laying around (well beer isnt free?)
Ive made the nastiest yellowest cloudiest headlights look like new within minuites. No need to buy new ones that will do the SAME thing in 2 months here in fl.
In a few weeks or maybe even this week, whenever i get enough energy, i will post a thread about how to "de-line" them. I did not do a write up on how to remove the diffusers out of the 92 tails due to the simple fact the batterys were dead in the camera lol.

I've had these new headlights 3 years now. They're holding up pretty well in the south florida heat and humidity. Got new foglights too. I tried the polishing thing. Looked a lot better but they'll never look new. NEVER! Close but never look new....and won't last long without more polishing. I'm not knocking the polishing thing but I'm hearing a little tone that sounds close to being knocked for buying new lights. What's up with that?

You guys seem to be missing one key component... Once you clean the lens AND put the laminex on you dont have to polish it anymore... A buddy of mine has had the stuff on his integra for two years now and it looks just like it did when he put it on...
