My second pissed thread. This time I'm pissed because I curbed a wheel today. About 1 1/2 inches long. Deep wide scratch. I can't believe I did this. I've never curbed a wheel before. First time and it has to happen with a 4k set of wheels. Anyone had this happen before? Can they fix it to look like new? At least thewheels are almost 3 years old. I need your support brothers.

if the damage is not great, most wheel shop will be able to fix it for you and repolish the lip... and it doesn't cost you an arm and leg...
anyway, it sucks man! I feel ya.

Welcome to the Curb Club.......I feel ya there.....got new rims, cause repairing the old ones wouldnt be worth it, and from what everyone else said, they were ugly Good luck though.

Threads like these make me really reconsidor even considoring spending $2000+ on aftermarket wheels when I can have my tt wheels and not have to worry about driving....

Yep, did it about a week ago, except I not only curbed it I ran the edge on the curb. So I don't only have scratches, I have some crew marks.

Ouch, that sucks! The wheels can be refinished though. I know a few places thta repair that kind of damage. (it helps because 99% of all the used wheels I've bought this year have had some sort of curb rash)

Just out of curiosity, what wheels do you have that are worth 4k?

Sheesh bro, I feel your pain. About 3weeks after I got my Dronnels I was doing my speedracer impression on rt 15 and touched the curb, because I was at highway speed the wheel was rashed all the way around.

That's the only thing Curbs are good for.... for wheels anyway. Wheels have no use for curbs but, straching them. Hope they don't have Chrome on them, now those are a ***** to get fixed because them you gotta have them rechromed !
