the rear 'floormat' sections are separated from the front and the sunroof drains are ran trough the A and C pillars so your leak is very isolated, if you dont wanna pul out the carpet - jack the car up and have a look-see

Check you door hinges. Grab the door at the bottom. Do you have movement up&down?
Worn hinge bearings allows the door not to seal properly. Usually the driver's door goes first.
Take off door panel and have a friend run a stream of water over the door seals.
