Default Proud new owner of a 95' SC300

Hey everyone, I thought I'd make my first post on here by letting everyone know that I'm a proud new owner of a 1995 SC300, 5spd, Green/Tan, 125000mi. I believe it's the best car I've ever bought, and from what I've been reading for the last week, you all seem to think so too. I just purchased it last week.

I won't go into detail about what I want to do with it, I just wanted to come on and let myself be known around here. I think this place is a wonderful community of Lexus owners, and I can't find a better wealth of knowledge anywhere else.

In case any of you care, I'll let you know a little about myself. My name is Dan, I'm 22 and am stationed on Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC (yes I'm a marine) and I'm happily married to a wife who let me buy a wonderful car.

Thats great man. Welcome to CL. I have had my SC for about a year now and still love it. The ride is still great, interiorer is comfortable, and (girls love emm). You are married though so i guess you are not to worried about that.

You are a Marine. I want you to know that i appreciate what you do. My father is military and was in Iraq for a year. SO and thanks

Is your car an auto or a 5sp?

Sorry for no pics, I'll be sure to borrow my friends camera to take pictures of it and show you the nice X key scratch on my hood. Someone thought they'd be funny and draw a huge X on my hood. Nice and deep too, other then that, I need to replace my non-functioning antenna with a newer smaller one.

Sorry, can't say that I do. I just got back from Iraq last month as well. There are easily over 30,000 marines on my base. And that's just a guestimation.

Yeah, I drove all the way up to northern New Jersey to buy it for about 8200. About a 9-10 hour drive, but I feel it was well worth it.

Congrats on the new car. It sounds like your wife is very supportive. I hope she knows what she's in for with the new SC.

The more you hang around this forum, the more time and money you spend on and the less you spend on your wife/girlfriend.
