I finally picked up a Lexus SC400 this past weekend. I bought the car from a CL Member in Tennessee. As a bonus I was able to visit with some of my family while I was up there. Anyway the car is a 1996 SC400 with just over 100k miles on it. It has a few chips and dings which were really of no concern for me as body work is kind of a hobby of mine. I was more concerned with the interior quality and mechanical condition. And I was not let down with this car. The interior does not look like most interiors do in a 100k mile car. It still smells and looks new. All of the dash gauges work and none of the needles are burnt out. And it runs flawlessly. I have put a little over 1000 miles on it in the past few days getting it home, 755 miles was the trip home. These cars feel very solid. The steering is effortless and tight, no play in it at all. The ride is excellent. This is by far the best riding car I have owned. The V8 sounds really nice, even with the stock exhaust. And it pulls really nice on the highway. My plans for the car are pretty much cosmetic. New wheels later and maybe a subtle body kit or possibly go to the 97+ style bumpers. These cars are very comfortable and really a bargain these days considering what you are getting for your money.

I will post some pictures of the car soon. Although we all know what they look like.
