Default GAS MILAGE 92' SC300 5spd

All work has been done to this car.. everything is sweet.. rides awesome.. has 18" wheels.. dunno if that would make a diff.. It goes 200 miles and takes in 14 gallons.. sucks.. Can someone else post what they get for milage.. That equals about 15!!

My 5spd had TERRIBLE milage. Of course my driving habits with the manual probably had ALOT to do with that. It is just soooo much fun to zooom zooom zooom.

i get around 310 for a full tank of gas.
everything is stock. but i have some problems with the O2 sensor and probably the spark plugs. everything starts wearing when u have 210K miles on a car.

I try to drive mine mostly easy ('95 manual), but I don't know that it's had the plugs/wires/etc changed. Fuel filter needs it too. All in good time though! I get about 17mpg, which is loads better than the GN

Some of you guys in IN too? I'm in Muncie!

I get between 16-21 mpg, no choice but to match the revving with the engine speed when you shift in a 5 sp

I'm guessing that you need to change the plugs, distributor and rotor to see the mileage other 5sp owners posted here, but then again, if you are WOT and peddle to the metal, you're going to see low numbers.

Do you know the last time they were swapped out? The only time I ever got the n/a to 14 or less was in track conditions.

Hi there NIMIT!

I lived in ft wayne for many years! I lost my first SC on the 14 westbound exit off 69 (back in the mid 90's). Until they redid that exit there was a long garnet streak on the concrete median for years.

In Terrible Haute now, but we are moving to Nashville

Come up there often, in fact I bought my 00 SC up the earlier this year.
