Nothing new about drifting luxury cars. They've been drifting the Aristo, Chaser for years in Japan....now the Versossa. I don't have the numbers in front of me but my guess is they are heavier than the SC and even more nose heavy. While the weight and balance of the SC are disadvantages, these issues can be addressed to make the SC a fun car to drift. (though the best issue to address is getting a good LSD and many of our aged drivetrains may not be up to the abuse)

no alex is one of the new judges for Forumla d, the american drift series. He used to drive the rsr s200, and before that he had a AE86. Nice guy, just give him some drifter sause. lol

Steering angle sucks.
More steering angle=more sideways.
And whatever roo said.

hahaha dang you guys are everywhere. I think sc's are the ultimate street driven drift machine. its luxury performance. there are alot of aftermarket parts easily available. car has good balance people complain about the weight but its not that bad. also the potential for these cars are pretty much endless you can make it a 700 hp if you wanted besides the more people that drift sc's the more that crash and that means great deals for me ahaha good luck btw i drift my sc everyday and i mean everyday for at least 15 min lol so i can say its a good drifter

Damn, I thought more people would be more supportive of other SC fans... in whatever motorsport they decide to take part in. Anyways, some of the weaknesses can also be positive. As the car gets older, they get cheaper... and making big power out of a 2JZ is real easy, and somewhat cheap. Also SC's are pretty heavy, but they have big wheelwells. Big power + big tires = big smokey. That's probably why the mustangs are doing pretty well these days.

^^^ Photoshop anyone.... But yeah you can drift the SC, it's just a big pain due to the weight. I have a SC4 and i drift it a lot, but head to head to lighter cars the sc's don't hang.

Had to change my suspension, redo my brakes and spent money on tires. Gets expensive but is alot of fun. The car is heavy and doesn't respond as fast as my s14 240sx does. I bought the 240 after I broke alot of ***** on my SC. SOld the SC and got a 98 es 300(daily driver). The 240 is for fun now. Still looking for a 5 speed SC300.....
