Anyone know how much it costs to install a torque converter? Also, for anyone that lives in the south around atlanta, Mississippi, mainly alabama, yall know of any good (cheap) shops?
Thanks, Adam

My local Lexus Dealer charged me $750 (and I still feel violated!!!!), but was told by many other people that local (non lexus) shops charge 350-400.

Also , I live in Florida

$750  OUCH, you should feel violated! How much did they charge per hour?

I would guess between 3 and 5 hours labor. Basically R&R the tranny (exhaust, driveshaft, sheilds and brackets, connections, tranny, TC, all off and then on) Not simple but straight forward.

Alabama? I'll install your TC for you on my way down to FL. You got an air compressor? I'll bring my tools....

Hey man, I appreciate, but I've had to make the decision for my second mod on my car, some nice wheels and tires, or the torque converter. So I'm trying to balance out whether I want better speed, or better performance/looks. It will be another 1-2 months before I will be able to purchase my third mod. What do yall think should come first? I think I'm going to get the rims next week for NOPI. What do yall think of the new Konig Flatline wheel? I went to a shop today and love it. Or shall I get the Konig Monsoon? Can't decide! My SC is white. Opinions please. Thanks, Adam.

And, if you're driving through AL compuwiz, near montgomery or birmingham, just give me a call, I'll bring my SC brothers with me and we'll chill. Later man

Personally I would say the wheels....

I always like for my car to look nice before I make it faster....

IMO
