I just went 152 the other night on the freeway. Crazy multiple car race. First there was a C5 Corvette Z06 pacing us (me and two of my friends which is me in a '97 5-Speed SC300 with one friend driving his '04 IS300 and the other shooting flames out of his 93 RX-7) and then a new STI came up also and everyone started going. It was crazy...

HOLY ****.... 150's?? you guys are nuts man... I've only taken my car up to 115-120 briefly to test her limits. I would try more but she rattles and burns a little oil at high speeds so i dont bother going anymore... 120mph + smell of oil + shaking + bad struts = disastrous...

Speed limit here is 70 mph maybe 100 or 110 above.

I just opened up last week on my new suspension and hit just 130+ and held that there for about 5 miles. The car was at like 5k RPM and could have still gone a bit, but I decided that 130 was enough. The car was smooth like butter, no shaking. I even did a lane change and passed a guy while at about 125ish. I won't be doing it anymore though, I can't even imagine what will happen to my *** if I get caught.

135ish here, its nice to live in the sticks in colorado. Plenty of open road with no cars, and no police.This car is solid too at 135 it rides perfectly feels like going alot slower. When id take the FD up to 130+ it felt like I was in a rocket everything rattled and you really didn't want to go any faster.
Taken the sc 430 up to 120 and same thing, rides perfectly.

DETUNED

I hit about 175 twice and still had 6th gear left and way more RPM. The car was so solid and smooth, i couldn't believe it. Was going to go into 6th, but I saw a pt cruiser up ahead and didn't want them to switch into my lane, so I slowed down.

Technics

A little over 140mph, on I-90 on the trip back to NYC from Ohio where I purchased the car from.

Man, you guys must be young. I've gotten WAY too many speeding tickets in my youth and it has
really set me straight.


The most I've gone is 95! The excitement of the speeding is really not that worth it to me anymore.
3 years and no speeding tickets. Now that is cool.

115 on a 92 salvaged sc3, it felt a little dangerous to go a little quicker on 2 different rear tires

ive pinned at 160 and kept going so i dont know exactly how fast but not much over 160

Only about 120 so far - had bad tires at the time so it wasn't smart for me to try even faster. Just finally got new tires today so probably tomorrow we'll, TOP THAT BABY OUT!!!!!!!!!! Lol!
