HOW fast have YOU taken your SC300?

Has anyone here taken thier cars on any high speed oval tracks? I've found videos of the NSX club on those things....that would be the best lexus meet if it was put together, could probably get some good speed on a large enough track....
Not to mention bbq, beers, babes.....
Or IF I win the lottery I'm buying a ton of land and putting in my own track
Fastest I've gone is in a 1989 acura integra, yes they have only 118hp, got that stupid thing up to 131mph at 6500 in fifth gear on I-5 outside of Ashland Oregon. (shot a video of it too, while driving).
The SC300 only had to about 120 mph....just don't feel the need anymore as I love the car too much!!! Maybe on a closed runway or track...

I bet you were north of ashland in the talent/phoenix area, am I right?
I've gone 135 on I-5 outside of Portland (Lake Oswego) was racing a stock 3rd gen Eclipse...rolled at 80, let off at 120 as he was bus lengths behind me, but he kept going so I took her up to 135, and was pretty stable (no shaking).
It was worth it as the chick in the eclipse blew me a kiss when they caught up.

138 ran out of road, much more left. Don't do this at home kids!
Keep it as safe as possible. If you plan on doing this, plan ahead to check out your tires, oil, coolant, and so forth. We all know its impossible to stop us, so the least we can do is encourage safty precautions!

I was south of Ashland, coming down from Siskiyou Pass, a few curves, then a long straight right before the first ashland exit, basically the last slight curves were at about 100, then went to 131 from there after checking the road ahead for traffic clearance....
This was in my opinion the only decent place, barriers on both sides, no traffic, no cops, clear afternoon, and driven that section countless times in the five years I lived there.
Portland area: not worth it, just too many people on the roads, more cops, and I need some real mods before it's even worth pushing it.
