sure beats a camry (which is a great car too)

i gotta say i was apprehensive about buying the SC, as i truly wanted a supra. The more i searched and realized i wasn't going to get one i knew the SC was the next best thing. i'm in love with it now. i dislike the 4 point steering wheel but other then that it's been a great car and is comfortable, nice to look at and gets good mpg on the freeway (saw 23mpg the other day!) no problems yet and it's fun to drive. i'd like to switch out the steering wheel and lower it later on, maybe even do a tranny swap. all in good time though.

My other cars are Rx-7s. That should be self explanatory.
It's got class, style, and power. It was one of the first cars I ever wanted.
I'm probably going to get a Fit soon so I can keep the mileage low on my SC (which has been nothing but reliable.)

Reliability has been great for me. The car is 12 years old and runs fine.
There's a little electrical short in the system somewhere that causes the lights/radio to die out momentarily at night when I hit the brakes. I think that having the turn signal, head lights, radio, A/C, and brake lights on is a bit much for some component in the car.
Gas mileage is killing me as a high school student. I'm only allowed to work one day a week so my cash flow is minimal, and I'm getting about 16 MPG. I swear I can almost watch the needle fall sometimes. Can't wait to get her breathing a bit better to get some more distance out of a tank.

I've got 1.8 cars. (technically-neither are totally roadworthy right now)
One is a deceased 1992 Sc300 that's out due to wiring gremlins, and the other is a 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne that I'll be driving in early june. I've been Driving my dad's saab 9-3 lately, and I really miss my SC. The saab is so squirrely, and it is noisier than the SC. The SC could just blast down the road straight and steady, the saab wants to go left every once in a while. Plus, the saab is one of the noisiest cars I've ever been in when it comes to wind. The saab with the windows up is about as loud as my SC with the windows down...
The problems with the Sc: It's deceased.., needs a driver's side headlight unit, driver's mirror is fuber, needs a driver's door panel, and it's got a huge dent in the rear quarter.
But, all things aside, it went 172,xxx miles without a single problem. THen it kinda got electrically cursed.
Pics are always welcome, right?
here's the chevy, if that's your sort of thing..

If you are a realtor (i'm not), SC looks cool enough for you to go around and deal with your customers. And on the way home at the end of the day, you can go ahead and race.
No home buyers will deal with a realtor who rides a Supra!

I drive my 1992 SC400, with 171,000 miles on the odo, daily. The round trip for me is about 75 miles. 99% highway miles. I get 23mpg with Mobil1 full synthetic with the M1 fiter and filling the Michellins to the max tire preasure of 50psi. I drive very aggresivley and go 75-80 mph at every opportunity. We leave the 04 Honda Civic Ex in the garage on weekends, 98% of the time. I love driving the SC. It is classy, powerful, comfortable, and I am very glad to own her. The only trouble I have had is a burned out left coil and a faulty fuse for the AC.
I would recomend it to any friend or relative!

My SC is down right now due to a bad water pump. Got the parts for pump and timing belt .. just need to find hte time to do it.
But having a couple of Corvettes to choose from as a dail driver ain't so bad.
