I was wondering if anyone has regerously test driven both an sc400 and an sc300. Does the sc300 handle better under extreme cornering due to the less nose weight. And has anyone ever put an sc400 on scales to see what percentage nose weight there is. From the looks of the car I would think it would be rather high.

The difference between the two is very minimal... the weight distributions are available online somewhere, but as I recall its something like a 2 or 1% difference where the 300 is closer to 50/50 weight distribution. The stock 300 might handle slightly better stock b/c of a better weight distribution and lighter weight but minor suspension mods would put either one in front.

300's have an iron block, 400's have an aluminum block...the weight difference isn't as dramatic as you think.

Thanks alot, I didn't take into consideration that the 300 had an iron block.
