How much for my SC400 w/ mods?
I am thinking about selling my 1995 SC400. It is black inside and out. The interior is flawless, no leather cracks or anything. The body is in good shape for a 1995 car, I would consider it normal. The mods on it are 1" Eibach springs, Injen intake, and Magnaflow mufflers...what would be a rough estimate to ask for it?

Usually mods don't add to the value of a car. But the wheels do look very nice on the car. If the mileage is where it should be and judging just by the look of the car I would say $8500 -$9500.
I wish you were selling a month ago, I would have bought your car.

From the right person, yes. But you may have to sit on it for a little while until that person comes along.
Just FYI, when I was looking for my car I went to my credit union to see how much they would loan on the car. They were only going to go $8500 on my 96 SC400. Granted mine has more miles than yours, the condition of our cars looks to be very close. The downside in having only 77k miles is that the 90k mile service (timing belt) is coming up soon. Which will set a person back a bit of money. That alone is going to hurt your asking price.
Good luck if you do decide to sell.

Yeah, you can probably come close to $10K for it, but you probably shouldn't waste your time
posting on CL as people here want a SMOKIN' deal on their cars and are patient.
The used car market is pretty soft these days and trying to sell a thirsty V8 with these high
gas prices isn't going to help either. Good luck with the sale.

I can't see the pics.
I agree guys around here will lowball you.
I put mine up for sale and couldn't get a nibble at 16K. At the time my car had around 50K miles (62K now) with all maintenance done. Timing belt replaced. New radiator. 3K a/c repair. Rear main and valve cover seals replaced. Distributor o-ring replaced. New headlights. New seats. I could go on but you get the point. I have a practically new car and no offers. You'd do better selling on ebay. Enthusiasts visit that site looking for good cars.

ok I will give ebay a try after the forums...I appreciate all your input.
The wheels are 19x8.5 up front and 19x9.5 in the rear, I sold them for only $500 with tires about a week ago. I have 18" Volk GT7s on it now but those alone ran me $2200.

Mods will lower the price of your luxury SC400 for the most part. Being a former car dealer I would say the general public does not like altered or modified cars from stock....However, someone on these forums might pay you what you want for it if your lucky..
I would be scared to see what I could try to get for my modified and super clean 1992 SC400. Maybe 5 bucks and a cup of coffee.... One of the things we have to consider when modifying your Lexus is you probably loose out in the end.......

yea true, I always knew mods would take off the value. Yea I sold the wheels locally to a buddy of mine. haha he put my staggered offset wheels on his FWD car but that's ok because they're off my hands.
