just go in, ask for the manager, say "i got my car worked on at this shop and now there are burn marks on my upholstry". they should fix it or send your car somewhere to have it fixed. i worked at a firestone almost like a jiffy lube. when i messed up we would always take car of the customer with no questions asked. so just go in and tell them whats up

We should hunt down all the Jiffy Lube employee's "Wraith Style" and take them out.
Its the only way to feel better about what they did!!!

i was thinking about that...its kind of sad that they actually mess up more than they try to fix. from now on im doing all of the work myself. anyways, does anyone know the quality and reliability of the lexus dealer? i got my car used and i have never owned a lexus so im not very experience with the dealer. my dad has a mazda tribute and he really hates going to ford because they always make the car worse than it went in.

I haven't gone to the dealership ever since i first had my car, except for some warranty work. I'd like to think they are reliable because it is a lexus dealership afterall, but unless you really need to you can probably do most of the maintenance/repairs yourself considering the dealership will charge you a buttload for their services.
When you think about it, some of the people (not all) at those quick lube service places know less than you do about your car. And i'm just saying that because I know some of the people who work at the places around here and honestly they are morons that I'd never let touch my car.
