How much would I expect to pay for a VPC? I'm getting an open-air BOV with my kit. I've got the S-AFC...and it "says" it can fix the no-idle problem with open-air BOV's....anyone else used this feature on it yet? I would really rather use my current SAFC instead of putting out more loot on a VPC.

Lance at toyomoto only reccommends the 440 due to the percentage of increase to the 440cc....i have heard of 550s being run but i dont have personal experience with it....i know the 440s idle perfect....i dont know about the 550s.....
about the SP turbos...i dont think the SP63 will fit without modification to the throttle body or removing the distributor and adding coil packs......looks like ill be stuffing my 25Gturbo with a bigger wheel.....and bigger exahust housing.........im staying with the distributor and going to haltech....Jeff

Ok SC300TURBO and SC300T. I've taken your advice.
I just got off the phone with Lance, I should have my full Toyomoto kit to my door in 2 weeks. I'm going with the sidemount for now, better fits the budget. When I'm ready to upgrade the turbo, I'll get him to switch me to front mount, and put in larger injectors, etc. Seeing is believing, and F-Max has lost the vote.
Thanks for the advice on these things...it worked out in the end.

What are the disadvantages of the speed pro system?
With the speedpro I get 25+MPG highway, and OVER 20 MPG city. It is totally self correcting, so you just have to get your maps close to what you want, then input what you want your A/F ratio to be, the speedpro corrects constantly to that ratio.
We ran my car full boost with the nitrous (150 shot), not knowing that the fuel solenoid line had come off the nitrous system (making it a dry shot), and it corrected enough to save my motor! We ran it like that on the dyno 3 times before we realized that fuel line was off. Ever since then I am a FIRM believer in SELF CORRECTING engine management. In my opinion the Speed Pro is worth EVERY PENNY.

You don't need anything else, but depending on your fuel demands (if you are turbo) bigger fuel lines, fuel pump, injectors, and rail.
My setup is 75 lbs/hr (roughly 780cc), -6an braided stainless fuel line, dual walbro 255lph pumps, twin entry/center return fuel rail, boost dependent regulator, etc., etc. But you don't need any of that until you go turbo, and don't need most of it until you go BIG turbo.
