I am from the east coast. We would call the a wedgy. I never heard the term "murphy" until i met my wife who grew up on the west coast.

thank you for posting this thread i always wondered if racing seats would look good in our cars our not. i wanted to put racing seats in a long time ago but was afraid the racing seats would take away the classyness of the car. but the racing seats look good i think i might put them in mine....

how much was that bar in the back of the sparcos? did it help any with handling? or is just for harnesses?
