Default Driving at 100 + MPH

I've been racing my car.... and I think the car is creaking. Can it mean that my car is falling apart?!?!?!?

Up in smoke

Unless it's noise from slight flexing in the interior from hard turns, like in autocrossing, I can't think of any reason why it should be doing that. I've had my car up to 140 and held it there, the only way you know you're going that fast is the speedo... on freeways like Interstate 5 in California it's really easy to lose track of how fast you're going because there's no point of reference. The car *should* be that quiet at high speed, so I'd worry about sounds like mechanical noise on the outside of the car.

Mine is very quiet at 100+ mph. I agree with MadMaxSC400
that it is very easy to "loose track" of the speeds I'm traveling with.
