IMO it would be easier if u swapped it with someone who has a pre 97 spoiler and has the same colored car.

yea. thats what i meant. sorry if i wasn't clear. i want to trade my 97 spoiler for a 92-96 spoiler... but i just want to know if the existing holes on my trunk is the same for the 92-96's.... because if they dont line up i dont want to have to drill new holes.... therefore i wouldn't trade my spoiler. hope that makes more sense....

so does it?

I am new to the SC cars and have no idea if the holes are drilled the same for the different years. But if they are different, you may want to swap the entire deck lid w/spoiler instead of just the spoiler so that you don't have to drill new holes in yours. It would be nice if you could find someone with the same color car as yours willing to do the swap. Then again are there any colors that lasted the entire SC run?

@ that suggestion. If you trade only spoilers, the person you trade with is going to have holes visible under the wing portion of the 97 style, whereas, even if you do need to drill new holes, they will at least be covered by the flush style lip of the 92-96. Swapping trunk lids altogether would solve this problem.

No the holes dont line up. The pre 97 spoiler have horizontal holes/screws the 97 spoiler has vertical so holes will have to be made to make it fit
