You guys think a set of 275/40/17 will rub at all? I am not a rim/tire guy but i am about to have my race car sold ($$$$)and i am looking at a set of staggered rims. 17/8 inch for the front and 17/9 inch in the rear. I was going to go 245/45/17 and 275/40/17. I am putting a set of coilovers on also.

That platinum sc with the wald kit looks just like the car that passed me on oakland park blvd couple days ago. It was soooo sweet. All I could do was stand there in awe...with my mouth wide open....wishing I still had my sc.

18" is good but that mean higher tire wall.
The best way is Front: 19x8.5 - 245/35ZR19 Rear: 19x10 - 275/30ZR19.
18" is not the way to go, give it the look it deserves.
That is what the BMW M3 comes with from the factory plus the finder on the SC should be the same size if not bigger
