Personally, I like 17's for daily driving. Weight is similar to OEM if you use a high quality wheel, enough tire sidewall to keep the ride comfortable without exhibiting too much flex. 18" is overall the best balance for performance, comfort and looks.

19" IMO looks a bit too large in the front, where the slim elongated profile of the car gets thrown off with such a large rim. The way the SC's sit, the rear wheel cutout sits lower, so a large rim Looks like o--O even though they are the same. Expensive wheels, expensive tires, kind of harsh with such a low profile tire, easy to damage. Unfortunately gotta pass unless my SC is changed from being a daily driver to something else

Id have to say 19" is too big for the front and 18" is too small for the rear. So after having 18's, im now stock. Dont know what to do, but i'd like to get some TT rims for now.

This is one of the best-looking pre-97 SC's without body kits. Right, 20" doesn't look that overwhelming ...

Yeah really? 20x9.5 and 20x8.5

I'm using 17" TT wheels, and I love it. I'm more into the ride and handling, not the bling factor

I'd be afraid to bend or crack those big wheels everytime I drive on bad roads.

IMO, anything larger than 18" look out of place on the SC. Makes it look like those ugly Escalades with the huge chrome wagon wheels.

I find it hard to believe that the wheels do not rub being that low. Turn all the way left and the right front wheel does not rub at all?

Ive always had big wheels and lived on a dirt and rock road. Road are terrible here to but never had a real problem. They ride quite well to with wide tires...

I like my 17 X 8/9.5 setup, especially the way they fit; the rubber is perfectly flush with the bodywork front, and rear.
The shorter tires have a worse slip angle, not as much fun to drive on imo.
Looks good while parked in the convenience store parking lot though.
