What? No factory 15" option in the poll?

I've seen a few setups of larger wheels on the SC that look good, but if I had the money to get any kind of wheels I wanted on my SC, I'd stick with 15" or 16" in terms of diameter. I just happen to find that size most appealing aesthetically.

Main problem with the 15" OEM size is finding good performance tires that will fit and also take the weight of the car.

Looks good while parked in the convenience store parking lot though.
MMMM well i can drift that parking lot....

Thanks for posting that! I've always wondered how that would look.

I've always felt that a staggered wheel size setup would look ideal on the SC, since the front end is much longer and more slender than other cars, similar to the profile of C5 and C6 Corvettes, which also run a staggered wheel size setup.

Same size wheels always looked odd to me on the SC, the front would always look to large, or the rear too small, depending on the size. Thanks for saving me from a photoshop.

getting the correct drop on a SC with 20's has alot to do with the way it looks...the lower the better!
see, it's not that bad...

I agree with you Ral. Personally I prefer the look of the stock 16" wheels on my '94 SC400 --- I just wish they weren't so beat up looking by now. Plus, when you increase the rim diameter you start messing with the ride characteristics of the car (less rubber, harsher ride). And you get into accelerated tire wear, greater replacement expense and on and on and on. Just my opinion ...

Anyone thinking 18.5" would look best?
