Need advice about my SC300
Okay, just bought the a 92 sc300 in Jan 06 for $3900. The car has 250k miles, someone dented the back quarter panel and of course didn't stick around to take responsibility and the Harmonic balancer just went out. Here is my dilema; should I attempt to get it fixed and try keeping it for longer or should I sell it? If I should sell it how much do you think I should try to get? Here are some pics... what do you think?

No way that car has only 25k on the odo, look at its condition...Seats do not rip in 25k miles of driving...i think he may have meant 250k.

It really depends on how much money you have to drop into your car. But your choices are very simple.
1. Sell the car for less then you purchased it. You will take a big hit, but its better then having a headache around.
2. Keep the car, drop alot of money to get the balancer and quarter panel repaired, you will appreciate the car more.
3. Fix the balancer, drive it as a beater, and pray everyday that your toyota motor doesnt blow a headgasket.
4. Convert it to a racecar.
If I were in your position, I would keep it after F&Ftokyo drift and hope the prices on these cars rise. Then sell it as a potential kit car.
But if you were me, I would keep the car and convert it into a racecar, SCs are something else.
