Default Mounting 92-96 OEM spoiler

Well i just purchased a spoiler off KILO from NELOC and i give him 100% feedback. He took care of my needs very well and went out and paid money out of his pocket to make sure my spoiler got here ok. Thanks Kilo.

Well the question is i bought the spoiler. i drive a 300 and there is no holes drilled on my car for the spoiler. Therefore i have to drill my own and mount it blindly. Does anyone have any good ideas of what i can do to make this easier. If someone has mounted their own, how did they do it?

MYSC: I hope you don't mind me editing your post (broke it apart into two paragraphs and just tweaked the thread title)

I did a quick search for you and found this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...unting+spoiler

looks like some pretty solid info from some other CL'ers

well thanks for the help guys but i sucessfully mounted my spoiler bout 1 hour ago. my buddy came through and helped me out but im sure it can take only 1 person but 2 helps a lot. It gets time to go faster. FOr future refrence this is what i did. First i got a drill bit that wouldnt be too big. Im not sure what size but i started out small. When u take the carpet off ur trunk lid there will be 2 holes about as big as a .25 cent piece on each side. I did it with tools laying around. I got a 16mm socket and stuck in the hole. I then held it there and got the drill and centered it as well as i could and drill the hole. The socket just helped me center the drill bit so i would be closer to the center of the hole. Do the same for the other side. I then sat the spoiler on top and lined the holes up witht he 2 screws. After that i got a dental pick and scracthed a line where the plastic clips were and drilled a small hole. The clips will now sit in the hole. U have a hole on each side so the spoiler is now lined up preety even. Then at this point u guys can use any kind of substance that can come off onto ur paint. I found some rubber cement stuff and put it on each screw and let it touch the car and left a mark. I drilled at the marks, opened the holes up with a rasp cause they wernt perfect and... it sat right in. Screwed it on. ALL DONE. might sound difficult but think it over and it worked great. bout 35min - 1hr for those who arnt body techs. Thanks guys. I would post pics but i have to get my camera to take smaller pics. Sometime. Thanks to KILO once again for the spoiler. Ur awsome!!!

Just download www.irfanview.com and use that to resize your images, it takes all of 2 seconds to resize and save any image to any resolution while preserving aspect. Then you don't have to fiddle around with the camera.
