soarer street drifting

All I kept thinking while watching that was...
Awesome driving but whats the F#@*;^ng Point!?
I do that every winter, and still have tread left when I'm done.
But in Winter, when you get too close to a big white truck, Hitting the clutch or brakes
Does nothing!!!
Instead of Tokyo Drift, they should do Chicago Drift. A bunch of suburban rich spoiled raver kids avoiding plow trucks and light poles with their 300whp Civics and Integras. That would be something to see. Salt spray covering up that $5K paint job, ice hanging off the carbon fiber Lambo-wing!! Todd over there trying to "kick it" with mittens and earmuffs.

Isn't that movie you are talking about making called teckademics east ?
I just think it would make things a little more interesting.
Its like NASCAR to me....going left is boring....Put a NASCAR vehicle at Road Atlanta....in the rain. Fun stuff!!!
I understand that drifting is cool to watch, and probably hell-a-fun to do. I just don't get it.
But hey.....Whatever floats the tuna truck?
Maybe I'm too old
