I love the timeless looks of the sc so have kept the classy lines. Underneath the hood though, it's been modded so quite a sleeper. I love the fact that you don't see many on the street-ESP clean ones.

I say both for me. I have a nice daily sc300 and built(in progress) drift sc300. Even though when it's done my drift car will look alot nicer then my daily. Actually I guess it will be both widebody lowered with a good stance from the outside, but 1j with coils, arms, and angle from the inside

my goal is both, and i voted as such, plans include 1jz, as it should have been from the factory, aiming for about 450whp, clean inside, clean outside, the biggest thing for me is that what i do is done to perfection, just throwing parts at a car doesnt make it nice, there has to be a balance. having said that there are some things i would like to do to make it stand out a bit more, like zg flares, diffuser and front lip stickerbombed. some may not like it, but its not about that, its about making it your own.

Just wondering, it seems a lot of people in this forum are in the "hellaflush" camp . . . . .
Here is my 1992 SC300, 5 speed . . .
I bought it back in August 2012 from the original owner, with 61k miles. It now has 70k miles on it, so I do drive it a good bit. The interior is MINT except for the typical center dash vent crack and minor wear on the parking brake cover![Sad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
I must admit my thread title is a bit misleading . . . .
I have done exactly TWO mods on this car. Both are with OEM Lexus/Toyota parts
1. Replace all gold badges with chrome ones
2. Replace OEM 15" wheels which were pitted/peeling paint/had bad tires with 18" OEM Lexus 18" wheels. This single mod made a world of difference in how the car looked.
Granted my wheels are not stock, but I just hate these guys who slam these cars to the ground. They usually run 19" or 20" wheels with just ridiculous offset. Then they further lower the car with cheap coil overs and generally hack up the suspension, wheel wells, and sheet metal. Besides making the cars look ridiculous, it makes them ride like utter crap.
So what in the hell is the point of owning the ultimate Lexus(ultimate 2 door is the 90's SC, ultimate 4 door is the LS, any generation) if it rides like an ox cart?
Here is my car . . . . . .
