At least it was parking lot speeds. I assume he has insurance?? If so you're looking at 1/4 panel replacement, new bumper, new tail (trunk doesn't look bent from pic)..probably $3,000
Sorry to hear though, bro

I'm thinking more like 5K to do it right... I got hit in that same spot in 2002. It's a long story, but I think it's in a thread around here somewhere ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
in the all-time record of great timing of car accidents, I think this is right up there with possibly getteing rear-ended by your future spouse.
It doesn't look too bad, and with the price of Carson Toyota's GB on the AC kit, you can upgrade for stupid cheap![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I mean... seriously cheap. Sneak it into the insurance quote, they won't notice ;-)

Owning a new car is like owning a new pair of white shoes... everythign is out to get them for the first couple of months/can't keep them clean, but eventually it will die down. Some dude almost T-boned me the day I got my car and was just about to pull it into my neighborhood for the first time! I wasn't a happy camper. Sorry to hear about all this man
good luck with it all!

Just got the news today and thought I would share it. The insurance company totaled my SC. So I was able to purchase and total an SC300, 5-speed in a week. Can anyone else beat that! It sucks but I think I might had found a replacement SC. It is a 1997 SC300, 5-speed. I hope it all works out.

Got a call from the insurance company today, and they said that the vehicle may not be totaled and that they would let me know tomarrow for sure. It has been almost 2 weeks since the accident, and I wanted to know how long it took you all to get your cars into a body shop after an accident. I think 2 week is very slow, but I thought I would as you all for advice.
