i just wanted to share my new shine with you guys (and gals). i paid $275 for all for to be repollished and have the curb rash removed. i think i got my moneys worth. there were a few knicks and scratched on them, as well as the clear coat peeling on the spokes. here are some pics. anyone know where to get new centercaps for less than $64 each?

i had them done by a local guy. the guy that comes to my work to repair wheels referred me to him as he specializes in pollishing. he has done a lot of work for prefossional athleats here in orlando, and many dealers as well. he had a very good reputation, and now i see why.

Looks absolutely gorgeous. As far the engine bay, was it steam cleaned? Or did you just manually clean it up?

gunk engine degreaser and 2 small wire brushes... one brass, and a smaller steel one for the hard to reach placed. and lots and lots of elbow grease. i had to go over it a few times, but it all came up.. ill take it all apart and replace it once i clean my spare intake and have it powdercoated allong with my spare valvecovers. the degreaser stripped some paint off of the passenger side valvecover, so ill replace it sooner or later with powerdercoated ones. there are a few placed i couldnt get to, but its better.

thanks for the kind words... no one said i got ripped off yet.

trust me... with this sitting in my garrage, it is very very tempting.....

sean, they are not cleared... although i was thinking of having it done this week... any opinions?

as for the boost... im not going 1J, and i dont want to mess with a kit, or installing a 2JZ-GTE, so i think it will stay stock for now. add a few bolt ons, spray the hell out of it and worry about a swap when it all goes boom.
