Locked my keys in trunk!
I locked my keys in the trunk today by mistake. Then a couple of my friends tried to get it open somehow and ended up accidentally locking the trunk because they thought it was the release. 
. Anyway, I have alot of important keys in there and I would like to find out how you guys have gotten your trunk to open without using a key. Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I only carry the primary key with me, and I leave the other at home in a safe place. I had that happen to me once before and had to get someone to bring me the key. I also have a plastic one for emergency. I have no clue how your gonna get back in there... Try a locksmith?

you are going to have to push out the keyhole in ur taillight, and then mess with the lever. i dont think lexus will give just make you a key. why dont you have spares?

OMG that is exactly what I wanted to do! They were screwing around with my car trying to figure out a way to open it while I was talking on the phone. I cought them trying to pull out fuses and pry off my back seats.

i locked my key in my trunk before, i had to order a spare from Lexus, left the car parked at the beach for 4 days. The lock by the trunk release was pushed in but the spare was still able to open it.

as a last resort... why cant u break your window and open the trunk release from inside the car?
a new key may cost much less than a new OEM window though...
am i miss something? is there a way to lock the trunk and also lock the trunk release switch next to the steering column so that u can't open the trunk from inside anymore?

Of course lexus will make you new keys. They're the only people who can. If you've already had the car registered to you through lexus then they will cut the keys no questions asked. if not, you'll need to prove ownership through brining in something like a copy of your registeration or such. takes a couple of days, but they can get them for you.
