Three Q's. (Intake, Alt., Door Handle)
Okay, instead of starting three seperate threads, I thought I'd be "smrt" and condense.
First. I broke my door handle, the inside piece. Is this something to look for in a salvage, or just replace with a new one, because new, if what I saw was right, it's 200-300 bucks. But would a salvage one hold up fine? I guess that's what I'm asking. O.o
Second. My altenator is going out, as said in a previous thread of mine a month or so back. Well, I finally found out it was my alt. so now I know what to fix. Is there one SPECIFIC one I have to use, because my gf's dad, who's into muscle cars and what not, said you can find one with the said ampage (if that's even a word), and it'd work fine. Any help/advice there?
Third. I'm interested in working on this BFI intake, as I have little/no money, but am anxious to work on my SC, as well as repair, and lately it seems most of it is repairing the previous owners' messes. I remember reading it used the stock Yamaha airbox (?), but mine says K&N, and I think it also says Filter Charger, or something about not replacing but washing it out after so many miles. WIll this airbox work? Or do I need to rebuy a stock airbox? I took out my cornering lamps, and am interested in routing the air up and through the passenger side lamp hole. Dunno if it'll work, or how well, but it's a thought, right?
Thanks ahead of time guys.
