Yea I was looking around today at a few SC's here in Vancouver. Ultimately I want to import a SC3 up, because I want the "economy" of the 6 over the 8. Anyway I checked out a super clean 97, the guy said replacement value today would be 90-95k, so with inflation, all your guys' numbers sound about right. Can't wait to pick one up

Dont buy the SC300 for the fuel economy alone as the SC400 matches or has better fuel economy according to most including my own SC400 that I used to have that got 22 MPG combined average. However, if you plan on going turbo by all means get the SC300

Something that I am also looking at doing, With the strong CDN dollar and the lowered tax (6% whoopie!) its looking much more advantagous. The ones in Canada are either grossely overpriced or complete wrecks.

Yea exactly. I looked at a few up here, including an imported 95 SC3 with a 5 spd which was BEAT and the guy wanted 20k for it. Its hard to find them closer to the border though I've found. The best priced with best mileage are all down south and to the east.

I still have the sticker for my 99' SC 300 - $49,477; with tax and licence that's got to come close to 55K... WOW! I love the fact that I let some guy shell out 55K for this gorgeous ride; and I took it home later for half that.

Sweet!

By the looks of your sig, looks like they're getting rarer and rarer. Keep up the good work and keep increasing the value of my car.

SC300 ~= $40K
SC400 ~= $50K

Wow $10K different for the V8 and 16" wheels
Anyway, if your "supply vs. demand" equation holds, SC300 should be more expensive than SC400

When I was looking at SC300 5-spd's, I found they were definitely more expensive than a comparable SC300 Auto or SC400.
