I've always kind of wondered what these beautiful coupes were worth new. I figured $50-60k, but maybe I'm guessing low? Say like a fully loaded 00 SC300, how much were they worth?

SC400's were about $50K and around lower $50K during the late years. SC300s could be had for around mid $35K range with the later year being a bit more. Since the SC ranged from 1992 to after 2000 I based these off 1995-1996 prices.

check out your registration card from your dmv... it should show the msrp price. mine says either 40-45,000 i can't remember, and mine is a 1993 sc400 welcome to the club btw!

My 1997 Sticker was 43k and some change. It came with a bunch of dealer crap too.

mines was owned by a 50 year old lady .im the second owner .at the time she bought it in 94 and paid $45,000 for it

I still have the original window sticker and will look when I get home from work but I believe it said $56,500ish on my 95 SC400.

My 92 400 was stickered just a tad over $41k. Mine came with the Nakamichi system, spoiler and chrome wheels...but not much else(Seat warmers,traction control, etc..)

Factoring in say 4% Inflation over 15 years for an SC400 and your looking at around $71k, which is actually somewhat of a reasonable number.

I have the original window sticker for my 92 5speed 300 (RJP)- $38,7xx
Later was upgraded w/ sprint/lexus car phone (like $2200 )and other bs.

Just checking out an old car and driver of mine where they test it against the Legend LS, Lincoln Mark VII, and the Caddy Eldorado. The Lexus came out first, 97/100 an amazing figure by any feat, I have never seen anything higher.

Anyways, their 1993 with TCS and Premium Nak ran $46,976. The base price is $42,980.
