Does anyone else seem o get harrassed by cops in ur sc400? I hav never had a single ticket until I bought my sc400 now i get a ticet for every month!!!

actually i find that my pearl white SC helps me out of tickets, ive gotten 3 'warnings' but never a ticket, one i swear was gonna give me one, i guess it helps if u have a clean record also

 

As long as I don't do anything stupid I'm usually fine. I used to get tickets when I was younger but I haven't even been pulled over for a few years now. ::Knock on wood::

 

heh.....two Fing tickets in my "PEARL WHITE" SC400.....guess cops figure, hmmm, that person drives a Lexus, that automatically = they have cash flying out their ****....

 

I've gotten razzed about "No front Plate" but that's it. I'm a total lead foot too...

Drive cool, and cops will be cool.
Drive with your head "inserted"...Cops will be happy to pull it out for you.

 

Invest in a good radar detector and always watch the on/off ramps as you come up to them and pass them. Dont get cheap. Be ready to spend a few hundred $$$.

I like to get behind the smugglers after they pass the off ramps. I don't write any tickets though if I bust you your probably going to jail. I say get a radar detector because I even get tickets myself mostly tint and F plate. No one is above the law as it should be I guess.

One of the things best about a Radar detector is; I can't seem to hear ambulances until they are coming through the intersection. It's hot here, windows up, AC blowing, music or talk radio at normal range. I guess I’m deaf but it sometimes really helps keep you aware of what’s going on out side.

 

i wish radar was an option, its illegal in VA.

I think the lexus emblem has actually kept the police away, if anything....

Why would a cop harass you in a SC? Riced out civic....ok, mustang cobra....ok, Lexus sport coupe.....wtf? Ofcourse there are those of us who go "Damn, I was going 120 in a 70....I deserve a ticket" and then there are those of us that go "man....wtf, you're just haressing me"

It was pretty much set up for rallycross....i didn't get to do any real events with it though but that didn't stop me from from doing some stuff on my own not to mention plenty of 3200lb 4wd touge hehe
