Default Problem with SC400

Hi all;

Here is my problem with my sc400 92 model. First of all, i did all major service(timing belt,plugs, wires, caps, fuel filter and air). I noticed this while driving in freeway traffic.

I press the accelerator while reaching speeds of 10-20mph. I then let go of the pedal for a second or less, then I quickly re-apply accelerator pressure and at this moment the car does not respond to acceleration, I felt a hesitation. But if i press more pedal it goes but this is after a few delayed seconds. This problem can be recreated as I re-conducted the procedures above.

Does anyone know what this could be? I put 92 octane and tried several fuel injector cleaners and still nothing. Is the injectors gone or is this an electrical problem.

thanks,
007

Sounds like timing is off.

Default problem with 92 SC400

hello MY NAME IS Hokkayh(Hawkeye) and I have a 93 SC 400 it sounds as though you need to have the throttle plate and engine soaked with 44k I would only recommend you to have the Dealer perform this svc. if the tech working on your car tries this procedure and does not do it properly it can and will hidro lock the engine but if done properly it can and will make a difference as far as get up and go. good luck.
