i agree that the interior of an sc is showing its age in design, but the exterior i believe looks better than A LOT of the new cars, specially with a kit.
The main thing with new cars is their interior. especially the cluster and the center console design.

I'm new here, coming from Honda World 
I just bought a 98 sc300 auto tonight because my girl loves it
I have an s2k AP2 and base on xperienced my female friends like the sc300
because of its conservative styling very classy but yet sporty
I sold my teggy DB8 for the sc also
So far LOVIN it!

Hacked CL to become a Mod
I work at a Toyota dealership, and one day I was washing my car...some older gentleman came up to me and said, "That's a nice car, is that the new Solara?" I was speechless, disgusted and proud at the same time. There's a giant L on the back!!! but knowing that he thinks my car is a 2008 is enough to make me giddy

ive had my sc for about 3 years now. and im keeing this for life. the sc has a endless time look to me, and i will be forever playing with this beauty B] if i ever get other cars, i will keep this up to date, no matter what.

I bought my sc3 because my gf likes it, she thinks it's very classy!
She hated my DB8 integra... see my sig-
And I love this car since I graduated high school, I've always wanted one.
I will keep this car till we run out of petrol

I dunno...I think there is ugly, and there is good looking. Older cars will always have beauty in my eyes (55-73) and the 90s japanese supercars are beautiful for me. I think that beauty is timeless...whereas the others are fads for the majority of us. I know alot of people like the 4 eye cars of the 80s (4 eye mustangs, Buick GN) but man, they just are ugly to me. I thought they were good looking when i was a kid in 89 though!

The Soarer/SC will always be one of the more bold, sharp looking cars out there, as said the design is timeless.
Many people think my car is newer than it is, although it is pretty beat. People said the same of my R32 Skyline when I had it, it was pretty boxy and simple, but it still looked fairly new.
