hey dude, the car needs alot of work man! needs paint, carpets, shocks, seats all torn up, missing a few interior pieces, odometer dont light up, interior is scratched in some spot, coolant was brown(headgasket??), dirty motor, crack windshied/sunroof, the list could go on, but from what saw, thats all i can name. i am not hatin on the car, but when i saw it on craigslist for 1900 bucks, i thought it was a super deal. when i went to see it, wasnt exactly what the owner described. we both agreed on a selling price lower than 1700, but i didnt go through with it..hehe. anyways... the car is still worth it, but the project would of been over my head. good luck bro!!

underbody was a beaut, so i was happy

Pardon? Damn, SC's aren't worth squat over your side of the pond, that's nuts! How much did you end up putting into it? Looks worth a lot more than what you bought it for.

I saw a deep blue SC (very nice color) yesterday. When I pulled closer to her, she was like ... a mess - dents (some big ones) and scratches everywhere, and broken tail lenses (I didn't see the front). Even so, she still looks great on the road ...

But you may not want to own an SC like that ... because you will need to buy a lot of Advils soon after you take it home.

this was how i found er, a lil beat up, the last owner did not have the time for her. i talked him down from $1600 (mind trick). picked up front end & quarter off a friends rear ended 95 for nothing, took the car to a family member and taaadaaaa.

yeah the car im getting is a little beat up but if all else fells i will 1jz it. Yay me. The car does need new paint ant pretty much an interior but that will all be taken care of in due time. It will be a work in progress but hey you cant complain when your only paying such a little amount for such a timless car. I mean I could go get myself a flat screen T.V. , but my flat screen wont be able to turn heads and I dont think it would take boost very well

Hey guys great site, this is my first post. Well I wouldn't really say that Lexus' are cheaper here in East (NYC) specifically I bought my 92 SC300 about a 2 months ago from a private seller from craigslist. He wanted 3,800 but finally got it for 2,600, it needs work inside and out. Distributor was leaking, there was a junkyard Alternator in the car that had me stranded twice before I had it rebuilt this past weekend. On top of all that I was in a fender bender on Saturday , a Hyundai hit my tail end and surprisingly I had minor problems while his frontend was almost totalled. Anyways he has connects with a lexus dealer that will replace my bumper .

I will post pics of car soon .

Man this car is worth 1700 if it didnt have an engine, transmission, and was on 4 bricks. I will have pics up when it gets here.
Wow, it only took you a minute to find that deal?
