Switching out gold for silver badges
Ill find them on my own as the dealer option seems to not be an option... Question is, if anyone has done it, whats the ballbpark I can expect to pay for all silver badges for sc400, and new silver tips?
BTW whats you guys take on switching? Is silver on black overdone? The gold does match the gold 'L' caps on me rims...

I picked up some used ones on the SC4 sale board for 45 with tips... had to clay bar the tips and polish up but worth it to stay oem. Don't buy the knock offs on ebay wrong size... emblems looked brand new and just cleaned the glue off and used 3m outdoor 2side. Easy job...

I already have silvers, but on my white sc. I plan on removing my old gold emblems on my stock rims getting them silvered and slapping them on my TT rims. Silver and black is one of the best looks IMO.

IMPORTANT... If you bought them off of ebay from
a guy in Hong Kong I would cancel the order... I bot black pearl emblems from him and the finish wore off within 3-4 weeks to show he had cheaply painted over gold emblems and of course he wouldnt respond to any emails... Good luck...

Here's a Great Site for Emblems!
I bought those pieces of counterfeit garbage from the HK guy...they are a joke...flimsy plastic knock-offs. I learned my lesson, and wasted $37 in the process.
The Sewell Lexus (Dallas) guys

have a great selection and the best prices I've found (~$96 for a full set). I'm replacing my gold emblems with chrome thsi weekend. IMHO I think the gold emblems are WAY overdone. The chrome would look fantastic on the black.

I paid about $70 for a full set of brand spankin' new chrome emblems through the dealer about 6 months ago. I personally prefer brand spankin' new emblems because that's the effect you want right? brand new looking?...used is used unless your current emblems are just complete trash. Matter of fact I still have my old gold set sitting in the garage and they're damn near brand new. I just wanted silver/chrome to match my wheels and the chrome trim on the car better.
If anyone needs a gold set holla...

hk-plus' the worst!! These things are already chipping and I haven't taken them out of the bag...garbage!!
