There are several guys in KY TN LA MS that have 22" rims and Mickey Thompson tires on trucks and I know they don't want gold teeth. I want to put 24" on the new Chevy truck and none of my teeth, my parents, or anyone in my family have gold teeth. Yes I am Black. So where are you two going with this? Are you saying large rims and gold teeth are synonomus? If so you may want to stop paying your cable bill and buy a plane ticket and go somewhere because it is obvious you have never been anywhere. You referenced Paul Wall, what does he have to do with it? By far he wasn’t the first Caucasian with gold teeth. This is a large world out here, it time some of you to get in it. MODS please keep your eye on this post. This site is too diverse for any forms of racist comments. Plus you never know who is reading.. I know some of you are probably saying…here he goes again… yes I am … I am not down with racist remarks.. and if you are step up so we know who you are. I dare you!

Teeth aside, those rims look ludicrous.

<-- doesn't believe the statement was racist

But not to diverse, I think 22's are pushing the limits. GL on your decision though

if you don't think that is racist I may have a problem.... not liking a rim if fine.. but generalizing and targeting is another....racism

Well in the interest of civility, We'll just agree to disagree.

With that said, what type of rims were you thinking about?

24" wheels are definately bling

bling includes
gold teeth
7 rings on each hand
20lb's of gold painted lead around your neck and wrists
glass earings the size of golf *****...

the only racist thing about suggesting that is that it's racist to suggest that these things are the preserve of only 1 ethnic group... get out and see the world a little... in the UK you are more likely to see white people and gypsies dressed like that than anyone else...

some links to demonstrate...

What's the point in making an amusing statement into something about race which 1) it clearly wasn't meant, it was stereotypical not racist 2) It's racist to suggest that the stereotype is limited to 1 color, race, or creed

that's my 2 cents...

I have been all around the world and I have also frequented Piccadilly Circle and some clubs in Portsmouth England. The link of the man with the gun should be perceived as a person with a disguise. He wants to give off a image of something he is not. Note the bandana covering his mouth to have a scapegoat. By no mean am I going to jack this thread. I thank you gentlemen for your views, but the culprits know what I mean. Generalizing, stereotyping, racism are all same. and for the record.... I would not put 22 on a SC lol

People get too offended now days with the whole "racism" thing, best to steer clear of stuff that might blow way out of proportion Now with that set aside, I think 20s can be done nicely with the right kit and suspension but I personally think any SC under '97 looks too tall on anything over 18" all personal pref. though!

22's are wayy too big IMO. If you can pull it off tastefully then i'd definately give you props. I've never seen them on an SC either.
as for 20's, I'd have to agree with OLT, take a look at Din, or SCon20s', I think they pull it off quite nicely.
