Default SC4 has been de-chromed

Soo.. after looking at my car for quite some time, I decided I didn't like the chrome trim. (sorry if you like it.. js a personal preference) And i decided to black it out

heres before:

heres after:

I think it looks cleaner and nicer.. but that's just me.

I know this was discussed in a thread earlier, and so I decided to do it

I used trimbrite blackout tape and total installation took about an hour

hope you guys like it

oh yea and i also blacked out part of the interior of my car

sorry no before picture.. glove compartment and all the trim to the left used to be a nasty greenish.. i used vinyl dye to black it

Oh I like that. I think only black SC's can get away with that though. Are you going to tint the tails too to match?

Please don't.

You're hanging on to the concept of contrast by a thin string. Looks fine as it is.

Doesn't look too shabby. Though, I wouldn't do this myself. I prefer the silver/black concept. I think it brings out the gloss more on the paint. Kind of how jewelery can accent female eyes.

It makes the car look really stealthy. Someone had done it once before on a black SC but he had Black wheels and a black interior to go with it. It looks great!

Good job, but not for my taste. Looks like an Accord of some sort with quarter wheels to me.

painting the inside of the wheels black and leaving the chrome lip would look great on that car

Edit: what vinyl dye did you use? That looks really good... i have the nasty green color lol

Looks alright.
I just don't know about those neon lights. I would never put them on any of my cars.
