Borla or Blitz exhaust? Which will give me better HP? I like the way borla looks, but my local performance dealer told me Blitz is better and will give me better HP results. Is this true or which do yall like better? Blitz was also going to cost me like $700. Thanks, Adam

Borla exhaust for the SC is only mufflers NOT cat-back exhaust. Is the blitz exhaust cat-back? Are there any places you can buy the blitz exhaust online? any pics of it?

yup, i'm DAMN happy with my N1s! Right now the N1s are still breaking in and the sound is getting sweeter
Video as soon as I can find that camcorder battery
So you have a '95 SC400 abutler? So do I. Check out the Engine/Transmission Section for a few pics of the N1s on my car and a lot of discussion on the subject. Expect to pay anywhere from 220$ - 280$ for each N1 plus installation of two mufflers.

by the way, you list the SRT HFI/ECU as a mod for next week... Are they selling it yet? They orginally said that it was going to be out near the end of August and it's almost the middle of October and yet no word.

And about your exhaust, is this a full cat back? and if so does it have more HP gain than the borla and blitz?

Nope my exhaust isn't a cat-back exhaust. From what others have said, a cat-back exhaust won't give you much extra, if at all. As far as I know, no exhaust company makes a cat-back for the SC400.
Keep us posted on your SRT HFI/ECU! I'm VERY interested in what type of gains a '95 SC4 can expect.

Save yourself some money and just get a set of ultraflows or magnaflows and take it to a exhaust shop to have them enlarge the rear quarter of the exhaust section to 2 1/4" and be sure to get 2 1/4" inlet and outlet on the mufflers. Should save you so much money with the same performance as the borla or blitz.

the blitz exhausts from what ive heard and seen are catback with 2.5 piping...i believe i saw it online at www.optionsauto.com, you have to go and look for it under the sc 300 though, im not too sure if they sell it for the sc 400, the asking price is 600 plus shipping....although i have to agree with bean and hellasboy , i have the apex dunk exhausts and im relly pleased with its performance and look on the car, when i put them on with the 2.5 piping i wasnt relly looking for an all out performnce upgrade, but just a balance of looks, sound, and performance.... hope this helps

abutler96,
If you're going to upgrade your exhaust with your planned modification you are better off with 2 1/4" duals at the rear section and redo the middle section over with mandrel bent stock size piping. No use in going to 2 1/5" unless you have NOS or bored out heads. Save your money and get that Apexi but before you buy that compare the flow output of the ultraflows compared to the APEXI AND MAGNAFLOW. They are all good mufflers but do some research before wasting your money. Just my two cents.
