boo ..new battery, no radio sound. time to try the second option i guess. does the back seat, or wherever you were talking about just pop out?

 

mines is going crazy it keep making that locking noise even if i turn it off i think the battery is dead also

 

whenever i tune the radio to the channel and hit the unlock key ...all i hear is the static going away and a thunk sound

 

mine doesn't work but that is because the power doorlocks are not working.

 

well a wire on my harness was broken that why my doorlocks were going crazy and the windows wasent working so now i can actually troubleshoot the keyless system so first things first .battery for the remote wish me luck with this guys

 

Yeah, mine doesn't work at all... I'll have to try the suggestions above. Power locks work just fine, just not the remote.

Anyone know a quick way to remove the rear seat?

 

Mine works. I replaced the battery recently. Range is still poor though. I need to be standing next to the car basically.

Was the range better than that when it was new?

 

Its alive!! I got mine to work after changing the battery that i didnt know about works from 40' didnt try any further cuz thats far enough for me.

my key used to work only when right next to the car. i opened the key up and soldered the antenna and BAM!! works from far now!!

OLT, what does the box under the rear seat passenger side look like? I pulled up the seat but I didn't see anything there in my SC3? Is it under the seat part or behind the back part?

My key looks fine at that soldered connection, and I just replaced the battery but I don't get any tone or sound when I tune to 94.9 and hit the button...
