Default TRD hood

hey guys, i want to get a custom hood, i was wondering if anyone knows who can get a custom hood or a trd style hood, well i know that there was a post about this before, but i dont remember what happened to it.

Also im looking into a body kit, i was looking in the range of the bomex or veilside, i like the j-spec ones but they are too expensive. i already looked at the waldusa one, and its too plain for me. well just like to hear your thoughts on the bomex kit, for anyone who has it please tell info on it? does it fit right? hows the material? is it strong? and do you like it?

THanks guys in advance.

I've got the Bomex kit, I'm really happy with it! I just wish the very front bottom edge didn't stick so far out...I can't get on any of the drive-up lifts at garages anymore. Or on the back of a rollback tow truck. Or on the little drive-up ramps you buy from Autozone. Or fit a hydraulic jack under it.

But other than that, I love it. Seriously...it's a great kit, it took one big hit on the front, no cracks or anything. It wouldn't be too low, but I've got my car pretty much slammed to the ground.

Pics are on my website!

hey compwiz,

my kit is actually lower than yours. and i always can get my stuff where i want it. the hydraulic jacks and drive up lifts take a little negotiation to get in and out though. for the jacks, you should get a pair, jack up the rear differential first and then slide another one under the from spot that you want to jack up. and then do the same for the other side.

as for drive up ramps, my shop keeps a set of wooden planks around handy....hehe

It's good quality, what are you looking to spend is the big question...

Ummm.....if it's the same as the SC3...yes.

I'll look today...I've gotta pull the ECU out again anyways.

Yes I'm still looking for that wire...I haven't had time to pull the ECU back out yet....I'll get to it. I figure that the wire will be the same color on both models of the SC....

It's pin 2 on the 1-plug harness that goes to the ecu. The wire is pink.

where and how do i get to the ecu? is there any way to tap it to anywhere else in the car? say for instance, under the hood? or under the dash on the driver's side? thanks for all your help.
