Default Soarer foglights different than US?

I swapped in a soarer bumper onto my sc300 last night. Now, before anyone jumps on me... yes I know they are the same. it was not to be JDM tyte yo! My original bumper had sustained paint damage and heavy scrapes thanks to some debris falling off the back of a truck @ 80mph I picked up an identical color, good condition bumper from JHOT that also came with the lower lip, so it was a win-win situation

The install went fine, but I did notice that the fog lights appear to be smaller on the soarer. While this isn't a huge deal to me, I wanted to confirm. Can the originals be retained with a bit of massaging?

What model is your SC? You may have the series 1 front bumper (JDM:91~93 USDM:92~94)

It's in the sig, 95. However, sounds like I got the first gen bumper.

the jdm fogs arent really fog lights. When you have the indicators on, the same side 'fog' will also be on. This is to improve visiblity of the road that you are turning into.

The US 92-94 bumpers are cornering lights.
95+ have fogs
Although they look similiar they are not. I believe the 95-96 and 97+ bumpers didn't have stock lips. You won't be able to fit your 95 fogs into the 92-94 bumper without modification. Oh and they do point out to the side, so they're not helpful for fogs.

Eh, I think I'm just going to run some extra cooling ducts from the holes to my TT brakes. Get prepped for track days

What I have seen done is someone replacing both cornering lamps (early model bumper) and putting in 2 dedicated fog lamps with custom made shrouds, looked nice.
