engine is here but the tranny isn't yet...maybe a week away or so. I still need to get my hands on a mk3 driveshaft =/

The good news is the turbo is in perfect shape...no play and spins like new =)

hehe, indeed they do. I just finished attaching the side skirts and rear as well as the rear suspension. (need to lower the rear more but I can already tell how much more stiff the car is...) I'll get some more pics with it all together tomorrow.
