I have a hard time accepting that if your stock door pannel is on the door, it would be any worse in an accident. how is shatering carbon fiber going to...
1... get through the door pannel?
2.... hurt any worse than the glass when involved in a side impact collision?

if they are reinforced as the stock doors are, nothing more should happen, accept instead of bent metal, you get a clear view of your doors insides.

i like debates.
When C/F shatters it's a lot more dangerous than autoglass, which doesn't shatter into shards that can slice flesh instantly.

...and if your girl can't close the door because she's small, then be manly and close the door for her

^^^Are you the same rain off of club240 with the project Keira S14?

The carbon doors are great for a track car that is drifted, road raced, or drag raced. Not for daily driven cars. Look at formula one cars in an wreck all you see is pieces of carbon flying everywhere and I guarantee that the quality of their parts are light years beyong seibon. In a side impact the door would be crushed and you wouild be pinned instantly as well as the sharp pieces of carbon would impale you like wood shards. Now before you do this get a cage and some door bars. Then your car will be super sexy.

Debats are great.

do you think Seibon will make dry caron? If so, how much do you think it will cost? yea, same price as the Vertex doors... Come on man, use your brain...think.

If you guys want the real deal, Carmake T&E Vertex is just a phone call away...

Dry Carbon > Wet Carbon

BTW, carbon doesn't "shatter" like fiberglass....it tends to bend and then finally crack if it meets enough force. No shards...I'd be more worried with frp doors than with carbon but either way, i wouldn't rock these without a roll cage.

I didn't know Car Make T&E Vertex makes carbon fiber doors. I thought that Ueno had custom made ones from somewhere else..... If they do how much? I really need to lighten my car cause its set for drifting and its a little heavy...I already have a full Car Make T&E Vertex aerokit with front fenders and the quality is great so i can only imagine abouit the doors.

That's why you get a full cage with door supports.

That's the price for each by the way. They are dry carbon. Didn't know about the switches though.
