All this talk makes me nervous!
I bought the Eastwood Roller, So far I have rolled my fronts, I have yet to do the rear. The front went very well; I used the heat gun as recommended and didn’t crack the paint at all! The only place I was not 100% satisfied with is where the square holes that hold the rock guard on are. The fender lip doesn’t seem to roll quite as well there. All in all I am very pleased with it! Once my wheels arrive next week I hope I have made adequate clearance for them. I will roll the rear this weekend and report back the results. I started with the front because #1 you can unbolt and replace the front fenders and #2 they seemed like they would be the greatest challenge. As of right now I say Roll! No question about it.

so even if you use a roller, the paint will crack if not heated??
i visited a wheel shop on Sat and they said they would roll my rear fenders to fit the wheels, but im not sure if they care about the paint cracking since its not their car.... makes me a bit skeptic

I just had my fenders rolled not too long ago to fit 19x10s in the rear. They didn't heat the metal up first but did a very modest roll, I haven't noticed any rippling or chipping of the paint. I was rubbing before but now all is good.

seriously... why shave when it can be rolled? mine rolled with no problem, if you do it right, it should take you 10-15 min to roll one fender, but then again, you dont need to CUT something from your car. My car has no paint chip and no bumps, dont use a baseball bat, they are created for baseballs.
