The days of waving to other people in nice cars aren't completely gone!! It really depends on where you live.... I went home to Austin, and all sorts of people wave and give thumbs up =0).
Also... a little off topic, I went to eat some chinese food the other day and I parked next to a NICE M5. As I was eating, I was lookin around, and only one guy fit the profile of being an M5 driver, so I was like, "Excuse me, is that your M5 out there?" His previously surly look turned to delight and we ended up having like an hour long discussion about cars =0). Gearheads that drive nice stock cars (like an M5) and aren't stuck up about it are hard to find! Thumbs up for that dude!

I see one other young lady driving a dirty white 97-98 sc, she dosnt pay attention to my car at all, if I see a guy driving I would wave to see if they were paying any attention and to let them know I liked their car.

why be emberassed to roll down the window and give a friendly wave, i hardly ever see my car in the Atlanta area, it is a comrodery thing and part of everyday life is putting yourself out there and meeting new people... take pride in what you drive.

Every one i've seen with the same car always give a nice recognition because theres so few of us, a around 40 yr old guy pulled up to me in his red SC 430 and gave me a nice smile and we cruised down the block and he asked me bout my sound system.

A simple kind gesture goes a long way :-)

I have a sad story... I have never seen another SC on the road. They arnt too big in MI or at least in the areas that I am in. But i would probably give a honk and a wave If... If I ever saw one!!! I am always looking for one though hoping that i will see one!!!

In japan, it's a little different. It's all in the head nod. If you pull up to a light and see a nice car, you give him a slight smile and a small nod of the head. He either does a little nod of the head, which means he accepts the compliment, or he give a larger nod, which means he is also complimenting you. Most things go without saying over here...
