any body know where i can get carbon fiber interior pieces, i want to replace the wood grain with black carbon fiber ....like carbon fiber dash kits or for the doors or anything......hopefully dash kit

There is this great carbon fiber film that Gsoup turned me on to. It's called Hayame. It's a REAL carbon fiber film, comes in several thicknesses (.1mm or .2mm, etc.) and it would be great to wrap pieces in. I plan on doing this to my wood trim as soon as I have some time.

Thanks for showing me this. I've been contemplating taking the plunge and attempting to overlay carbon myself. Now I'm not scared anymore!

so its not a vinyl sheet its hard carbon fiber.....damn it...does anyone know of a place with carbon fiber look a like vinyls

There is a vinyl website www.rvinyl.com that has a carbon fiber vinyl. I also want to wrap my wood in vinyl but I wonder if it will look good. Some one test it lol.

Did you try heating it up with a heat gun? Was the real CF look worth it, compared to fake vinyl CF? I will be doing this mod as well when I do my black interior conversion.

I havent tried yet, its just hard as hell to find oem carbon fiber interior. I really dont have the time to buy carbon fiber sheets and fabricate them.thats why i figured getting the carbon fiber style vinyl. what i want to do is replace the wood grain but cant find sites where i can buy oem carbon fiber for an SC300 or SC400.

the only one i've ever seen but i don't think they make it anymore is at importtoys.com emeralds website.

i didnt try to heat it up b4 i cut it. but im sure if u used a really sharp scissor it would cut like butter. but the area that i didnt like was what u get after u cut it. the edges are sharp and dont look right. o yeah i didnt use it to make anything have a carbon look. i used it to cover my zippo ..lol. i can tell u that it stayed on well.
