Need help- ABS/Trac lights on
ABS and the trac lights popped on today, im guessing it's a wheel speed sensor or the ABS sensor. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not sure if the SC has both an abs or wheel speed sensors or maybe they're the same.

when my TRAC light came on, I took it to the dealer where my friend works and he said that a pin slipped out somewhere and set off the sensor, I found out later on that this is pretty common on the 95-96 SCs. Not sure where the pin is but if I ever talk to him I'll ask. I know all he did to fix it was zip tie the base of where it was to hold it in place. Sorry this wasn't of much help :/

That trac light and check engine light came on on mine, heres what i did and worked for me. I bleeded the little nipple on the trac unit with the car on. Stopped the car disconnected the battery few few minutes and walla, not lights on. I dunno your problem might be different. Goodluck.

For the last three years my 95 SC300 has had a problem with the TRAC system and no mechanic, Lexus factory or anyone has the answer. The TRAC light goes on right after starting (code excessive pumping, I fogot the number) and it disables the system. No CEL lite. I have had this car since new so know everything about it.
Never heard about a pin slipping. Can you find out more????
