that is the xenarc 7" screen

how are you going to get the perforations in the seat, and what chanels will you use for air? are you going to custom make a switch for the fans?

I'm actually going to get both the Supra front seats and the stock rears re-uppholstered in black leather, with the middle part perforated. The air channels I am not too sure about at the moment, but the whole setup will be completely custom and require a decent amount of work.

You could make the car computer control the heating and cooling of your new seats, so you don't have to install extra swtiches elsewere

There's a number of things you can do. I forgot how many items can be powered by a serial port. Parallel port definately. For USB there are a few controllers. The thing is that you'd need some custom software.

[Edit]: Googled it, and with serial port you can control 2 relays. Or with a parallel port you can control 8 relays.

Oh yeh... if you need to contact me just use the PM, email me, or give me a call. I don't go online much, as I don't really have time, as I'm a fulltime student at Berkeley.

oops. sorry guys ive just been so busy lately i havent even gotten a chance to wash the car in a month let alone finish the seat install...

current status: seats are in, but heaters/coolers are not connected.

Lexus changed the wiring colors from 06 to 07 and i just got way too damn lazy to cross reference...

Note- the seats on the 250/350 are -not- cooled... they're vented. Pretty big difference. I -wish- they had cooled seats! Still better than nothing when it's hot though.

How do you swap the back brackets? I got an 2nd gen IS seat, and it seems that the back brackets are stapled to the seat rails
