Question value of 1993 sc 400????

thinking about purchasing a 1993 sc 400 and was wondering whether the value is right. they want 6500 for a pearl white salvage title sc 400 with 90,000 miles. Salvage title is because the door was ripped off, the wind shield is cracked, there's a blue spot on the hood that was painted over, head lights are fogged as well tail lights, interior is dirty, passanger door panel is loose, seats are worn; as usual, slight rust on the drivers side door, but runs and sounds smooth. So do you think that it's worth 6500?

if you get two for one, that's a great price.

The good 90K....the bad everything else.....thats not a great price for the condition your describing. Especially since its a salvage title.

What the hell did the previous owner(s) do to that SC?

I'd look around more, you'll find a better condition one for that price point.

I have 231,000 on my '93 and it looks almost new.

I bought my '93 SC400 with about 140,000 miles on it (with clean title) for only $6,000, the condition of my car though was very well taken cared off. You should just look more. If you want to know the value just go to KBB.com and enter all the information for "Private Party" and put "Fair" condition. That's the best way to find out it's value and work from there....

i wouldn't risk buying a salvage title car, esp at that price...i had two before and don't think they were worth it
